Upper Eyelid Surgery

The goal of upper eyelid surgery (also known as blepharoplasty) is to remove excess subcutaneous fat and loose skin from the upper eye area that causes the eyelid to droop and significantly age the face. Upper eyelid surgery is commonly performed in conjunction with other cosmetic procedures, such as lower eyelid surgery, face lift and forehead lift to further enhance results.

Lower Eyelid

Upper eyelid surgery, combined with lower eyelid surgery produces a much more balanced and aesthetically pleasing result. Lower eyelid surgery is very effective in reducing puffiness or ’bags’ under the eyes. During the surgery, the doctor will remove excess fatty deposits and skin underneath the eye. Nose - Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty (also referred to as a ’nose job’) can dramatically improve the aesthetic of the nose and, in some cases, respiratory function. It can reduce an overly large nose and add volume to a small nose. The procedure can also reshape the nose to correct bumps and other distortions.

There are two surgical approaches for this procedure; open rhinoplasty and closed rhinoplasty. The open rhinoplasty technique involves making an incision from outside the nose. During closed rhinoplasty, the more commonly used technique, the doctor makes the incision from within the nostrils. Splints are usually placed inside the nose following surgery to maintain shape while the area heals.

The result is a more balanced, harmonious facial appearance.

Rhinoplasty is performed under general anesthesia and can be completed in one hour.

Ear - Otoplasty

Otoplasty is often performed on children with large, protruding ears and can make a significant difference in self-confidence. The surgical incision is usually made in a inconspicuous location behind the ear. The doctor then adjusts the position of the ear and may possibly remove cartilage.

The surgery usually lasts about one hour and results can be dramatic.

Restylane®

Restylane® is a dermal filler made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the human body. It is highly effective in the reduction of wrinkles. Unlike animal based fillers, Restylane® is all natural, reducing the risk of allergic reaction and rejection by the body. It is injected into the skin just like collagen; however, Restylane® results last much longer than collagen treatments.

BOTOX® Cosmetic

BOTOX® Cosmetic was originally approved to treat dystonia, a neuromuscular disease. It was then discovered that BOTOX® Cosmetic was also highly effective in the treatment of fine lines and wrinkles. BOTOX® Cosmetic has now become one of the most popular cosmetic procedures, particularly for the treatment of crow’s feet, forehead wrinkles and frown lines. BOTOX® Cosmetic is basically a cosmetic form of botulism. When injected into the skin, it essentially relaxes the muscles responsible for the repetitive actions that cause the wrinkles. It is a quick and efficient way to reduce facial wrinkles and lines.

Depending on the extent of injections, most BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments can be completed in five minutes. Results usually last about three months.

Microdermabrasion
